Take the stress out of travel with children

Travelling with kids can be really stressful for the whole family. But a trip with an RV turns a vacation into a great experience for parents and children alike. In fact, you can even bring the family pet along too. Not only is it a great time for the family to bond together, the children appreciate spending time with their parents, doing things together. Often moments spent together, that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Kids can be really fussy eaters

Why waste money on food they don't like, or appreciate, when you can prepare their favourite: quick meals, drinks and snacks, in your own kitchen. No need to go hunting for just the right restaurant that will suit the tastes of everyone in the family – and end up with sulking children, because Daddy didn't stop …. And you don't need to waste valuable driving time, when one of the children is thirsty, if you have cold drinks in your RV's fridge. Of course, after all those drinks, you will probably need your own toilet too, so you don't need to worry about taking a detour to find a clean washroom, for a child that just can't wait …

Children never seem to stay clean

Weather can be changeable, so it is nice to be able to take changes of clothes ready for the hottest, wettest or even coldest weather. And when they get muddy or soaking wet, they can shower and change into something fresh. So they can play to their heart's content and discover nature for themselves – by the lake, in the stream or on the beach, and then get cleaned up before a supper by the family campfire and bedtime – after a perfect day.

Kids like to play with other kids

Your children will make lots of new friends when you stop at a campground, which are always popular with young families with RVs. Not only will they meet lots of other children from different parts of the country, there will be amenities such as swimming pools, playgrounds, mini-golf, games rooms, or rentals of bikes, boats and movies. They may even have organized recreational activities for kids, to give Mum and Dad a break.
